وأوضح الخليفي، في تديونة على حسابه بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي فايسبوك، أن هذا الخيار ”ليس لتوريط رئيس الجمهورية كما قال شقيقه وإنما لإعطاء فرصة للحكومة ولكل الفرقاء السياسيين والإجتماعيين والإقتصاديين للتشاور بجدية حول الحلول الإقتصادية اللازمة لإخراج البلاد من أزمتها المتراكمة وتطبيق الإرادة الشعبية”.
وقال رئيس كتلة قلب تونس: ”رئيس الجمهورية هو ربان السفينة وقائدها ويجب أن يتحمل المسؤولية مع الجميع”، مضيفا ”ميزانية رئاسة الجمهورية التي تم الترفيع فيها ب17% لتصل إلى 169 مليون دينار، كل هذه الميزانية لا يمكن أن تستعمل للبروباغندا الإنتخابية فقط وتنفيذ مشروع وبرنامج تفكيك الدولة دون تحمل أي مسؤولية في ذلك”.
